Maryknoll, the U.S. based Catholic mission movement includes: the Maryknoll
Society (priests and Brothers), Maryknoll Congregation (Sisters),
the Maryknoll Mission Association of the Faithful (laity,
priests and religious), and the Maryknoll Affiliates.
Since 1911, Catholics in the United States have responded
to the worldwide cry of the poor by becoming Maryknoll Missioners.
Today, Maryknoll, witnessing to Gospel values, help people
overseas build communities of faith, work in war zones with
refugees, minister to the sick, the elderly, orphans and people
with AIDS.

Since Maryknoll's founding in the early 1900's Maryknollers
have strived to live the mystery of God's presence among
peoples of many nations. Maryknoll Missioners share
the mission of Jesus by embracing the challenges of
evangelization to announce and to give witness to the
Good News of the Reign of God wherever we are sent.
We have always taken this responsibility seriously and
have endeavored to share our experiences of God's presence
in our sisters and brothers throughout the world by
our mission education efforts within our home churches.
We offer a variety of Mission Education related resources;
lecture series, two and three day long classes, videos,
books, posters, lesson plans and many other educational
resources. Please visit our education site on maryknoll.org
for a complete listing of these resources.
